Art at ArcheanWeb: Part of the West Coast Shorelines Series
Cannon Beach is perched on the northern Oregon Coast just south of Ecola State Park and a short ride from Portland. One of the best know attractions along the beach is Haystack Rock. This eroded volcanic stack is approachable at low tide and the tidal pools surrounding the rock provide a micro ecosystem for a variety of marine life.
